Mehran heater to Ac conversion

I am newbie into these car thing. So bear with my very basic questions.
AC of my mehran was working. In December a mechanic made heater functional. He said that heater pipe was missing he installed that. Now when i try to start AC, heated air comes out of the vents (switched to AC MODE). Do i need to visit an AC mechanic or there is some trick at home involved into it. ?

may be its wire from ac console is not clipped.

Nh. I thing my AC needs servicing along with refill of refrigerant gas.
