my mehran model 2008 heat up very fast. recently i changed the gaskit but did not fix, i also service the radiater but nothing happen and mechanic said that head surfice is also ok. the temprature needle reaches to 70% in rush or traffic jam without ac running. due to this problem i cant run ac. plz help
70% without AC is definitely too much.Change your oil, oil filter, air filter and recheck your cooling circuit. Use coolant instead of radiator and finally get your temperature gauge checked.
thanks for reply. but i already changed oil, filters. and i use coolent which is made of osaka. and i also changed the heat guage.
Check water pump if it's circulating water.
Radiator Fan speed.
There maybe air in the system.
Does it have thermostat valve and automatic fan? .
the fan is direct and have no T valveand yesterday i changed the radiater and heat guage. but still the needle hit the 70 to 73%. and the water pump is also working. the mechanic recemmend to change the whole head. now i am confuse.
may be your clutch and pressure plate is damage becuase sometime if the clutch is damaged, the car is very heat-up... so check the clutch plate and pressure plate.
In normal cars the thermostate valve open wen the temp of water in radiator hits 80 plus degree celcius. And fan starts at that time

i had this same issue and had to remove the fan auto valve to direct! reduced the temp to 25% from 80% but i dont think this is a permanent solution! i checked the leakage or other major parts but everything is running fine! i m driving without ac becoz its broken! gona fix it soon after my exams! also i will flush/clean the radiator! any advice on which coolant should use?
I am facing the same problem of Mehru Heating up. Gasket and radiator changed. double speed fan is installed and running directly with no T valve . No A/C. Mechanic saying to change head. I shall go to another mechanic on Sunday. Will share the outcome.

Go to a suzuki 3s; Although they'll charge more but will fix the issue !!!
thanks to all for reply, i checked it from suzuki 3s. they tune it. change oil. after that the needle stays in the middle of the guage. but it has no t valve and the fan is also direct. now can i install t valve or it is ok?
does the car reduce coolant? if yes then change radiator's main pipe, it would cost about 200 + 50 rupee labour to change it,pipes sometimes develop leaks that are visible only when car is overheating(small leaks noticeable only wen pressure is high enough to emit steam)......
