Mehran Improvement

There has been one improvement in Mehran, coming 2 or 3 years ago --- the rear suspension has softened a bit. Unlike the harsh suspension of our late 90s Mehran.
Did anyone notice it??

there is no improvement in suspension, its the seat which is making it sOFt...

Yar its not an improvement. Let me tell you that the Mehran's which came b4 93/94 are FAR better than the new Mehran. No matter which part you compare !

new mehran brakes are biggest problem ... Before they were far better ...

My mechanic told me ... this ... That old mehran brakes were good ...

So there will be more issues too ..

"McPherson"
(Multi-link) rear suspension &
"DSC"
now ...!

The suspension hasnt at all become softer but has actually worsen! I had a 90/91 mehran it complete orignal condition...it had CNG in it and it would usually be fully loaded, and i didnt get extra leaf springs(Kamani) added to the rear sus and it it worked fine! but a friend bought the new mehran (CNG fitted) which has a 3 leaf rear suspension and literally in barely a year the leaf springs had changed there from convex to concave! :S

hmmm now mehran has rear shock absorbers and a leaf spiring .. pehle sirf leafspring tha
i also had 89 alto .. body was better but never the suspention.

We have a 96 Mehran and it is "hell av a suspension" unless three persons occupy the rear seat.

if u find any Mehran from 89-92 in good Condition then thats the best i think actually Rear or Front Suspension different in the way that in early no CNG so no Extra Kamani n now Suzuki send Mehran with 3 Kmani Patey in FF CNG. so u find that rear Suspension is better if u add Kamani in 89-92 Model i think they are superb.

n 89-92 MEhran in good Condition also have Cost from 220k to 275k. but good Mehran in all respects as compared to Current.

I recently got an offer of 210 K for my 1990 Alto, all genuine MashahAllah, in original paint, with little improvements. The offer i got was from an agent and he stopped me on the road and showed his kindness

i bought brand new khyber in 95 and price was 275k that time from suzuki .. i bought an 89 mehran(alto) 12 years ago for 90k and put everything new japan in it with with overhauling for 60k .. car was better than new .. old reh kia gaya tha ...
i have hered stories of dealer stopping and over rating cars but try to really sell your car and ull get my point .. if its in phenominal condition then max 130k u can get .... i am shocked at your price .. 6 years pehle my brother in law bought 91 khyber in wow condition . that he even got warrenty for it .. in 180k
u should have sold your car at his price ..
