Salam

There is one problem which is bugging me for quite sometime. Car is mehran euro2 15ooo km driven. The problem is that when driving the car with ac for long like 20 to 25 mins or when i am stuck in traffic jam with AC, the car gets serious jerks on first gear and it feels like that the engine is about to turn off and feels heavy in both first and second gear but the jerks are only in 1st gear. The temp needle remains normal like close to C when AC is on. kindly provide me the solution as the suzuki people or other mechanics ive shown my car have no clue for that.

But it doesnt happens all the time, it just happens when i am driving for long with AC on or i am in traffic jam or slow moving traffic for like 20 to 25 mins.

imo AC compressor overheats and locks up

same thing used to happen with also ... car jerks when stuck in traffic jam.. i used to put in 3rd gear for a second and it resolves the issue

But thats not the permanent solution as this thing is annoying and might also be bad for other engine components

It happens to my mehran as well...the idle speed also gets disturbed.
Funny thing is that the problem resolves when i open the fuel cap and tight it again.. @xulfiqar bhai shed some light on this

My mehran has that problem too, when i stop at the petrol pump for refuelling there is a vaccumm sound after opening the fuel cap like a lot of pressure is generated in the fuel tank.

At low speed/stop n go traffic thr isnt enough air circulation to cool compressor down. Discuss with AC waala

Poor fuel tank design.no proper ventilation. I just sold 2013 mehran.cap always popped open like a coke bottle....vacuum lock

I had vxr...company fitted AC...i got stuck in traffic jams couple of times with AC on.no complains.maybe OP has after market Ac/compressor

I have Vxr too with factory fitted AC, this problem was not there when i bought the car but it arised after second tuneup from suzuki 3s. Took it to them several times but this problem is still there.

Bro its not a serious matter the VACUUM pipe attached to your fuel tank is short that it remain dis-functional for releasing vacuum produced in petrol tank , simply go to any Suzuki 3S its routine matter for them , they would simply remove your left rare light and extend the vacuum pipe by joining it with another extra pipe or by replacing the original with the longer one, simple and after that ur good to go, had this treatment for 2015 Mehran frm Suzuki 3S

have same issue in my mehran. although mine jerks alot with ac on at 0-5 kmph speed in first gear.
but as you said when im stuck in a traffic jam or iddle alot with ac it gets worse. i have to press accelerator a bit to avoid this issue. any solution ?
