hi friends i want some suggestions from experts related to my endless nightmare mehran shock absorbers.That i have 2006 mehran and i want to replace its shocks bcuz of driving comfort as like as rikshaw.plz help me
that what type shocks is better to replace.
what will b the cost.
and some thing more if u know about

There is nothing much you can do about it. It will become a pain and only getting a benefit will be your mechanic due to your repeated visits

Simply replace springs with the ones from honda city. And enjoy.

brother Mehran is not for comfort....so if u do much with it the result will be nothing....so if u r shock is OK and u just want 2 replace it 4 comfort then u shuldnt replace...

new original Mehran shocks are about Rs.5,000
Chinees or local....2000 to 3000 depends on quality..

and used original in very good condition (kabli) will cost u around Rs.3000..

Mehran only have shocks with springs on front
At the back Mehran has Shocks with KAMANI, those can me added for hardness and adjusted for softness. Consult a Kamani maker. About front i dont know.

Oh Allah kay naik banday mein ne city ke spring dalay hain apni mehran mein. It just cost me 1200. And its smooth and never does the THAK in pot holes now.

makes no sense as the city is MUCH heavier up front than a mehran,... so this would mean that hte city springs are harder, which would menaa harder ride obviously.

also fitting springs which were not made/designed for your car can cause serious handling issues and even loss of control.

i think this is a very stupid idea and sadly people don't realize how risky such acts of blatant stupidity are.
