Mehran turns off while driving, wont start again

Assalamo alaikum members

Having this trouble in mehran model 92. Using only petrol from past 4-5 years fot this problem abt 3 months before.

It has happened 3 times now. In middlle of driving car becomes "off" at any speed low or hi. If i turn ignition again nothing happens. After abt 30 min it can start and drive fine jese kuch hua nai.

First time mechanic told me change fuel pump, did it then same happened after few weeks.

Second time showed me one wire near engine had split in two parts he put new clip on it and tape.

Again now yesterday prob happened took it to another guy he said change oil.

Few common points:
1. Problem happens at or after going thru slope or turning each time

1. Problem happens in night time only during day im driving 30km each day without any issue

2. After this problem usually in few min 10 or so indicators become dead or one side becomes dead

3. In each case i personally feel car is hotter than should be but mechanic assure me its normal temp.
   In 2 times, car was parked and after 5 min of starting this issue happened. When i opened bonet it was heat feeling till outside even just in 5 min of driving.

4. Fan is direct always on

Could it be related to electrical issue or engine oil. Or any other ideas. Maybe some member having experience of mehran may suggest. I really want to solve this issue really not just rreplace random parts.

i have some same issue like this...My Mehran 2007 got off while driving in any speed.. But on first sulf, it starts like nothing happended.

I have already changed petrol filter, Fuel pump, but problem remains

Do you get ignition immediately after you turn the key or no ignition?
Does Ignition sounds a bit different?

What temperature do you heat the car upto?
Was the air conditioning turned on when this happened?

@ saddiabbas brother my problem is car wotn start again for around 30 minutes. after that its all ok like nothing happened.

@ rider4414 no there is no ignition or sulf after this issue. only switch comes on but nothing happens. then after 5 minutes, left side indicators stop working. 2-3 mins later all indicators are gone and horn becomes VERY weak. after 30 min or so, i will try ignition and it will start up as normal. no different noise.

in all cases, car was parked for 3-4 hours in evening and started barely 5 or max 10 minutes before this incident happened. one time i had been driving for around an hour or so and then suddenly this happened. by that you can guess car shouldnt be "hot". but when I open the hood, I can feel the heat reaching till outside where I am standing. Maybe its just due to hot weather but 5 min of driving shouldnt heat up a car parked for 4 hrs that quick no?

and no, ac is disconnected. I can usually access hot air through vents. but in this case it was all OFF.

change your coil. get denso coil, will cost you around 3000. replace it and your woes will be over.

I suspect a short circuit in your car, and its dangerous.
You should keep a small fire extinguisher in ur car till this issue gets sorted.

thank you for your input gentlemen.

I got wiring checked by electrician thru computer, he replaced few wires shorting.

Replaced starter points and its wires.

Repositioned fuel pump from vertical to horizontal.

Changed fuel pump pipes which had tiny cracks.

Alhamdulillah vehicle is fine now
