I have a feeling that after Mehran gets discontinued (if that EVER happens), it will have an even better resale and will sell at a high premium because sellers will say "its not complicated EFI".

^^ LOL! that is so true, same was the issue with the 96 civic. when i bought mine i recall the mechanic telling me "yeh sub kuch computer per chaliti hai, ub hamara kya kaam hai?"

i bet in a few more years the value of a used 2003 mehran will be 8 lacks due to high demand.

i dunt think this would ever happen again............coz MEHRAN PLUS had been discontinued with khyber........and arrival of alto and cultus but because of lo -sales compared to coure mehran was re-born. with the vx and vxr versions ( if u people remember).......so discontinuing it again .........i dont think so..........secondly mehrans spare parts are being made in every galli mohallah...........so there so less ecpencive if a new car shows up the spares would be expensive...........and having a mehran isnt that bad .........india MARUTI suzuki is also producing it...........and with traffic condition like this in karachi............even im planning to get a mehran.....with cng and a/c......."kaheen bhee kharri kr do.........koi maar bhee jai to no tension...........corolla aur vitz lagti hai to dil dukhtaa hai

her koi brakes ko bora kehta ha...per price bhi to dekho.....

Dont know why the price of FX came down, when we bought a suzuki alto (mehran) back in 1989 - 1990, that time they were not able to swallow a simple Mehran, for the first 4 - 5 years of Mehran, the re-sale of FX shot up greatly
