Probably the greatest of the driver's Mercedes.

The legendary M 117 motor was stroked out to 6 litres with DOHC and pushing out an easy 390 BHP claimed, though many thought that 420 or 425 was more like the real power of this engine.

Each of the wide body's was road tested by AMG at 295 Km/hr. 0-60mph dash was 5.2 sec.

These cars made mockery out of the Bentley Turbo R's and were the undisputed kings of the European autobahns.
