1) Sports edition is a marketing gimmick to showcase the base varient

2) Reasonable price depends on condition

3) Wise decision in what sense? merc is a merc and a toyota mark 2 is a toyota. obviously the c180 offers a better drive. After driving and comparing both cars i rate the c180 sports as accord cb5 1998 vs mark 2 as corolla se saloon 2001. The c class is a notch over the mark2.

4) Other options in your budget would include a bmw 3 series 2000- 2004 both shapes.

Bmw M3 1998. Thats a nasty one....

You need to know exactly what you want . Once you decide , I can refer you to people who specially deal in Merc , Jags , bimmers , lexus , you name it they have it....

Get Karachi registered cars , they are relatively cheaper....all you need to worry is about the freight... to isb...

its easier then you think..... you are asking too many people who are giving you too many opinions... since its you who has to make the decision , then its you who needs to research rather then ask for opinions.... just ask yourself what is it that you need and remember its not about more money.... its about your need and whats available in the market.... lucky for you as days pass , more and more European cars are available in the market with sinking resale....

You are absolutely right. 2013 Civic is a piece of trash and comparing it with a used C180 is totally absurd. C180 wins hands down. I was about to book a zero-mile 2013 Civic and thanks goodness I cancelled my plans to get one. I really thank my stars.

Na na I loved it but I dont want that much old car... atleast 2005+ model... at first I was thinking to buy a w203 2006.. but now I think w211 would be a much better choice for me.. I know even 2005 model mb will also be requiring a lot of work but still it will be in much better condition overall. ..

I can check the body paint etc type of things but how can I check the mechanical issues before buying a benz..?? as not many sellers give the true picture... then I have to rely on local mechanics but if anybody knows a specialist mb mechanic in rwp/isb who can inspect whole car before me making final deal that would be great...

I have toyota mark 2 2004 model now I an thinking to sell it and buy Mercedes/bmw.. my max budget is 2.8 million.. I am getting Mercedes benz c180 2006 sports edition approx 56k miles in 2.6 million..

Now I have few questions...

1) Whats the main difference between sports edition and normal one???

2) What should be the reasonable price for above mentioned car??

3) Is it a wise decision in moving from mark 2 2004 to c180 2006??

4) What other options(mercedes or bmw) do I have in my budget??

Audi A4 2005-06 and Bimmer E90 are available for 2.5M but I would prefer Merc for parts and brand Audi has better interior and looks and BMW drive is obviously much sporty.

I buy from showrooms not from online ADs. That is why your knowledge is limited only to what people say on internet.

Brother people who have any Benz dont have time to prepare for AD online good Benz are bought from showroom and sold too.

Karachi has twice as many W204 standing on showrooms compare to W204 in whole country.

75% of the W204 are with grey cloth interior and made in China, made in Bremen Mercedes Elegance models are half a million dearer.

AMG models are close to 5M.

I like and prefer older models mercs then newer models, like W140 to over W220 or W204 to W203 or W202, as a merc mechanic i knew new technology is going advance in performance but more sensitive and typical then previous & very expensive to repairs as everything is network controlled, engines are responsive but sensitive, drive is too stiff for better control but not suitable for our roads conditions here.

I don't want to say that older models are simple but so strong and reliable, true mercs enthusiasts peoples always loves and remember their W124,W126 or W140 because these are true benchmark called, Mercedes-Benz.
