I took mine Merc at shahnawaz ...they charged me 15k rs and checked everything.

so better to get it checked at shahnawaz before buying any merc.....plz dont believe on any road mechanics.

I dont keep any car for more then 5 6 months. Na c180 is not underpowered at all

Shahnawaz charge alot for inspection. I have got a way better mechanic then them .

Today I checked two w203's.. one was c200k elegance silver colour late 2006... 2012 import 1 digit isb number.. it was in excellent condition but its meter was showing SRS MALFUNCTION so rejected it... another was c180k 2006 2012 import avant guard unregistered but was in OK condition!!!

Should I go for c200k or c180k???

What are the differences between c200k avant guard and c180k avant guard???

srs malfucation is a very lil job. scanner will fix it. srs eror came on my 7seris as well once but it was resolved and reset by device yeh to chota sa kam hai no big deal bro

w204 starts from 33 2007 model. u can even get 2008 in 34 lacks.
AMG sports 2007 w204 will cost u 35 lacks, market is down now

I was in Islamabad since Saturday. Bought an old w201. Left just now. Will be coming again near weekend.

Will call a friend tomorrow and ask for a good car in sight and forward you the details.
180 isn't underpowered. Srs malfunction is no big deal.

@a1ms Are you sure that Amg kitted auto 2007 will be about 35 lacs??? If this is the case then I will most probably go for w204... I saw one 2007 c180k 2007 amg kitted... demand was 36 but it was Manual

Ohh and I thought SRS malfunction was something big so....lol... Any ways if I am spending this much amount I want a problem free car...

And I will be obliged if u help in finding car.. if I can get Amg kitted w204 2007 in 34-35 I will go for that in sha Allah..

in my opinion dnt buy w203 go for w204 shape c class
go for w204 2007-8 shape which is way better than 2006 shape
merc has poor resale
anything faulty can lead to a work done in 50k-1 lac
even suspension of the car is not gut for pakistani roads
and suspensi9on is v coslty
overall buying used car is not gud when u can get
better drive
better fuel consumption
better resale
better spare parts availibity everywhere
more options in brand new civic top of the line than 7 years old merc
meter reversed in all imported car mostly
in my view go for brand new civic tension free ho kar chalaoo

Hmmm apne to confuse hy kar diya.. do these problems exist in w204 too..???
I know that almost 100% meters are reversed. . I don't want to buy civic as I already have one. But I also don't want to waste this much money :s

So My tagging of volverine at least helped. He said what I said in my post earlier up in the thread.. If you have civic then wait for few more months and get 11 gen corolla. If you don't have an urgency and can wait for a year max may be. :/) you are spending 2.6 million. Not 2.6K so take more and more time before making decision.. Good luck and keep me posted.
