the key cannot be programmed easily as one thinks unless the program guy is desoldering the key, best get it from Mercedes Benz or from an authorised key maker.
Also make sure the key is assigned as a "NEW" key to the car - not as a clone of the original key, cloning gets tricky and can confuse the EIS (electronic ignition switch)
