yes off course successful restoration project takes time, patience and money. also requires research, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn new skills .

where exactly is that 500e.. thanks

Its here in Germany. I saw it at a scrapyard near bonn where I live. I'll take a look at it if the engine is still salvageable but a better option would be to import one from UAE.

Why did you install 500 badges on it, it makes it very obvious its a fake because everyone who knows benz knows the 500E looks like a W124 which goes to the gym, wider wheel flares and wider bumpers

The front flares are insane on the 500 models. I had one look at it at the scrapyard and it looked like an explosion had taken place behind the front fenders. First time I saw one in real life and I felt like staring at it all day.

Also witnessed my first real 201 Evo1 a few days back in cologne and a few other gems from the 70's and 80's. Might be me but I love watching these oldies roll down the roads.

As for OP's car, a 400 emblem would have been a better choice or simply leaving it debadged.

I have a freind here in town who owns a 500E, I drove it and fell in love with it, nothing matches that feel and thrill. And it looks like a car that is coming towards you to slap the life out of you

i was going to do full e500 swap... they told me that e500 front fenders , side kits and bumpers are available in Peshawar... when i visited , they turned out to be lorinser body kit and i didnt like them and there was no other way to to get e500 fenders and kits... i could have altered the existing but that wont look as perfect as original ones. for the time bieng i sticked to the orignal bumpers..... ... these few things were still on my list , specially e500 wide body and m119 engine, and wider wheels with larger drilled discs..

that is why asked about the e500 engine.... the car is with my friend now and he is going to complete all leftout things..he recently installed monoblock amg wheels and amg exhaust system, e500 steering wheel and trims are on its way... but for the engine he will need a complete half cut for complete wiring and stuff.. and once he gets his hands on half cut we will get every thing we need.. thats what he is searching for at the moment... we found one in malaysia through a dealer at peshawar...but they are asking too much for a half cut .. @devils_smile thanks for the advise we will look for it in uae

You won't be able to fit in e500's engine in it without changing all the suspension and brake system. Plus e500's front fenders are a bit wider than all the other w124s
