Mercedes Benz w202, c180, Year late 1999 Car Battery Issues, Suggestions?

I have a Mercedes Benz, year late 1999, C180, W202. It has series of electrical problems. The worst problem so far that I am facing right now is to get rid of BAS light which is consistent. I have replaced the brake light switch, steering angle sensor, yaw rate sensor and lateral acceleration sensor.

I connected it with the Carsoft v7.4 code reader. My ESP is ok now and no error codes, however I still have BAS light in instrument cluster with error codes B1042 which refers to CAN communication error with BAS unit. The rectangular ESP warning lamp in instrument cluster never lit up since I bought this car.
With (ME) I get code P0341.

There were many other electrical problems related to PSE, EIS and Instrument cluster. I got rid of them after I replaced the old AGS battery with Volta MF100. Moreover car heater which was not working before now works fine.

I believed that other errors would also go away if I changed the Volta battery to some Imported ones like Acdelco and I did that and spent 25000 PKR to buy 100AH , 850cca SMF acdelco. Some of the electrical errors that I got rid of came back again when I connected the code reader.

Now I believe that Acdelco battery is plain rubbish.

Can you please recommend a battery for my Mercedes Benz year 1999, c180?

a battery doesnt make a big difference if its has good near constant cranking voltage and holds it charge, check it with DMM, your errors are probbaly coming because of incorrect battery replacement procedure or leaving the key in the switch while replacing battery. instead of shot gunning parts at it get it scanned by MB Star and that will tell you exactly where the fault lies, generic readers may often confuse faults on this car.

that said BOSCH s4 batteris are good
btw youll be suprised that MB shahnawaz keep wet cell batteries with caps for these cars, a similar spec battery for yours costs 45k from shahnawaz.

Well to my knowledge and experience, batteries are causing many problems and they do make a difference. I personally think and its my view now that local batteries and those manufactured in Asia are not made up to the specification of Mercedes or BMW to meet the requirement of power hungry electrical components. These cars have many computers and gadgets in them and with batteries not meeting those specifications computer inside it won't allow/bypass power to components like heater to work.
I really wanted to buy Varta which is considered to be OEM of MB, however it was not available in Islamabad.

I did leave the key in the Ignition while changing the battery as it was mentioned in the owner's manual for my car.

get it done via star diag it will tell u the issue btw if the BAS light is on wont the ESP light also be on??

Varta is avail in pindi saddar just saw one yesterday,iam using bosch but my heater isnt giving any heat ,ichecked the blower motor and probably the brushes are worn out

Perhaps the heater Solenoid Valve in your car is jammed due to which hot water is not flowing through. This is the common problem with mercedes if you do not add recommended coolant in the car.
