Mercedes C180 vs Audi A4

Hi guys. I am looking into C180 (2016-2019) and A4 (2016-2019). I've literally heard people's reviews which were more like horror stories how difficult it is to maintain a Mercedes. Random problems with the car such as frozen steering, spark plug issues and sensors etc.

Whereas with the Audi A4 I've heard people having steering problems and very high maintenance costs.

All the threads I've read here are outdated. So I thought I should start another one and ask for your guy's expert opinion. It would be nice if someone also shed some light on what are the 5000km oil change etc cost. Thank you in advance.

Mercedes C180 (W205) is a better option than Audi A4. Bcz merc has its own popularity and class. In case of maintenance so that's not that bad as people told you. Regular oil change not cost you so much but you have to find the perfect mechanic for this not every mechanic is sa german expert so thats why unprofessional mechanics charge u more money than expert and professional mechanic. Ig u live in Lahore than PMS garage is best for u they are experts in Germans also they are charging same price for all cars in periodic maintenance like oil change and general tuning

The best advice for owning any benz or bmw is to drive it, and drive it hard.

If you let it rest too much and baby/pamper it a lot, it will bite you.

Follow the recommended maintenance schedule, and keep a good trained and educated mechanic. And keep away from detailer/champi paalish ustaad. (They are usually the biggest culprits nowadays)

I usually stay clear of audi because of the assinine build of them.

Hi there, we own a Mercedes Benz C180 2017 model since 2017, and trust me haven't faced a single issue yet. Costs aren't much high if you consider the fact that you have to take it Shahnawaz after driving like 10-15k km and not 5k km like most local cars. Don't have experience of Audi but, We have been using different Mercedes since last few years and its an excellent car if you care well.
