Mercedes c200 (w204) still worth getting in 2023/24

Need help my dad has always dreamt of owning a merc and as he says its his last time changing cars were looking for a W204.
Now the problem is we’re on a budget it should not increase the cost of a Toyota Corolla grande hence we’re double minded that the car can cost us alot in maintenance and end up as a liability.
Now I certainly know there are no good mechanics here in pak good with these german cars.
But what are the basics requirements we must ensure while checking the car out and what sort of mechanical/electrical issues could pop up in the future?
Obviously well be making the car completely 100% reliable in terms of tyres and brakes and radiator before we bring it in our daily use so if someone knows the cost for these please do tell.
Another thing is how much does it cost to maintain these cars like oil/filters also do tell about other maintenance, would it be equivalent to maintaining a grande or more ?

which part of PK are you saying this from ?

people are converting c200 into c63 amg's here like anything.

..... corolla civic buyers should never switch to german cars imo.japanese cars dont give errors etc like down model german cars do. fix are never cheap .

Please research forums. Literally just Google w204 c200 common issues in Google to find mercedes forums.

These will guide you on common reliability issues to look out for. Please have the car inspected by a mercedes technician before purchase if possible to avoid issues.
