Salaam,hope everyone is doing ok,am curious about metal detecting in Pakistan, we has very rich history starting from indus valley to British rule and a lot of archaeological sites which aren't protected by any government institute,i think many people of you must have heard stories that while digging or when constructing a new house people have found artifacts and even gold that the hindus have buried while leaving for India.
it is quite common in america and other countries that clubs and individuals carry out this activity for finding such buried treasure such as coins or artifacts with help of metal detectors,has anyone carried out similar activity in Pakistan ? and what are the laws related to it ?
average metal detecting devices which can get detect upto 10-15 inches are around 300-400$
