Yes it will go down plus booking/delivery time will also reduce.

I've booked an MG HS that I will receive in January. On the booking form, it just says MG HS Exclusive. How would I know if it is the CBU version and not the CKD? And what's the difference between the two?

Also, I'm hearing that some versions have a digital speedometer and some do not. Can anyone elaborate on that?

The Vehicle ID plate will have suffix - PK,
if it is a locally assembled batch.

1.GM engines are not ultra reliable. they didnt tell which GM engines is being used in MG.
2. DCT is not ultra reliable so far now.
3. The integration has to proove its worth in a couple of months; a lot depend upon how PKDM versions stand up to long term endurance.

unless 70% localization is achieved by the assembler they can not punch 'Made in Pakistan' ID plate, but use only PK suffix in ID plates. OEM license binding with Local partners.

JW is importing BIW/ body in white. Paint and final assembly local at this time. Not sure when a local assembled unit will leave the facility.

unless it is 30 % of assembly parts . it will be termed as KIT for which duty structure is entirely different compared to CKD (complete knocked down - 70% or more) which again has different tax tariff.

I can assure you, at exit of sitting Govt, it will be the largest industrial & financial case to be opened by successors. Larger then the Circular debt payments to closed power plants., in former govt.

I'm sure Changan Alsvin and Glory 580 Pro aren't 70% local parts, but they are being treated as CKD?
