8.5 lacs price increase/one-MG-HS is insane and illogical. Dollar hike happened, but raising the price abruptly this much is illogical, irrational and unjustified. People should boycott this car now for sure.

A lots of MG HS owners here. They have sold over 10 thousands units of CBU but have not even started taking booking for CKD. There was a photo session in may/June about the 1st CKD unit that was locally assembled. Do they even intend to start local production or they will just leave like KIA did in 2001/2002. It’s making a few people nervous who intend to keep the vehicle for long or buy it. Anyone shedding some light on this topic is appreciated. Thanks.

There is no work going on at the plant at the moment , i know someone who works in MG and according to him that it may not happen for another two years. He said that they dont need localization as they are selling CBUs very very quickly and that quality of the vehicles will drop.

Guys i am so confused over changing from my civic turbo rs to mg hs. No doubt it is packed with many options and features but for me drive and torque matters alot. I test drove mg hs 2 times but didnt liked the drive of it . I knw its more powerful than sportage or tuscon but still not convinced? Is it worth to change colvic turbo rs over mg hs?

Would appreciate suggestions pls jzk.

If you didn't like its drive there is no point in considering it as a replacement for Civic turbo. I would suggest you to wait for next generation of Civic. It's coming in H1 2022.

Hello members , I own a mg HS and I want to increase it's torque and horsepower . How can I do it plus will it cause any drawbacks to the car ? It will be very helpful if you guys can recommend me a tuner who can help me do all this . Preferred cities for tuner Multan and Lahore.

I went to MG capital yesterday for 1000km service. I was there at 8:30 and waited for them to open gate at 9:00am. Saw their staff coming in service center. If MG doesn't start local production there is a huge staff that will also go jobless.

There were 100s of MG HS parked in capital service center. Even few parked outside service center. They still need to improve a lot in terms of customer service. Waiting area is very small. No heating. It was full of smoking smell.

Typically it is CBU bookings that are converted into CKD, but it's the opposite with MG. This shows that they have no plan to start CKD assembly.
