No Oshan X7 doesnot roll back in auto hold mode but when auto hold is not activated in drive mode the SUV rolls back on incline if accelerator is not pressed accordingly.

Are you coming to a full stop using the brake pedal? According to Changan's website, X7 does have Hill Hold feature, so either something is wrong with your car or you're not doing it right. Remember that Hill Hold only holds for 2-3 seconds, so you can press the accelerator, are you sure the moment you lift off of brake it starts rolling back?

I came across a mghs unregistered 2021 at a reasonable price .I went through this whole thread today and there are pro con.now I can make a more informed decision.like I have to change my driving style a lot due to DCT it’s not for kai tu agai nikal kai to dikha.thanks a lot every one.

No I don't think you really need to change your driving style just because its DCT , its just a bit different from conventional or CVT not in a bad way but in its own way , like CVT is a bit different from conventional automatic.
You automatically get used to the DCT once you start driving it regularly.

I bought it because the price to feature ratio and the quality you get is insane, for me with these features and interior and overall quality this car won't feel outdated for another 5 years , and if MG get their license to sell CKD cars MG HS will be more expensive than Tucson just to get an idea of price

Just make sure you check the cars maintenance history (oil changes on warranty book),and have it inspected from pakwheels or OLX or some expert painter etc.

I went as far as calling the dealership from which my mg was delivered and maintained and inquired about oil change dates etc to cross verify , doesn't hurt to be careful and the peace of mind is worth it.

Also keep in mind this car has a stiff suspension , stiffer than tucson and sportage , its better for driving on smooth roads gives a better feeling of driving a sedan but on bumpy roads its hell. So do check that out if its acceptable to you.

I registered mine on 1st June 2022 and it was 180k approx for normal isb number (filer) I paid 60k extra for choice number

Probably now they have added capital value tax which according to agent is 2 lakh for filer .

Additional Tax of 2 lac for registration on your name instead of purchaser.

The invoice is on name of JW SEZ , as was in my case.
On smart card it mentions "Purchaser name as JW SEZ"

So just to update I took the car to Mg and this clean and genivan car had a front hit with damage radar sensor apart from other things .I am impressed with Mg inspection.
Also for the information any new potential buyers I had a chance to get quote for registration there

IDK why thyhey are charging double advance tax but atleast advance tax can be adjusted , if you are a salaried person when you do get car registered take ETO receipt to your finance dept and they wont deduct tax from your salary till this amount is adjusted for 1 financial year atleast
