realistic for daily driving is 10-11
just avoid pressing the accelerator hard at once and do it gradually and you can even get up to 12

Hey guys i am new here , so i want to buy Mg HS but i got a few questions in my mind
- Suspension , is it really very stiff even compared to Honda Civic 10th Gen ?
- Is high Octane a necessity ? or could we still use normal fuel and would it cause knocking
- Are parts available or would you need to wait months to get a simple headlight
and we are getting a car which is only driven 2k for around 6 Million , would it be worth it to wait a bit and increase our budget for Haval H6 as its my pesonal favourite or just buy the MG right now

1) Suspension is miles better than X
2) High octane can be mixed with regular but the few rupees saved on a full tank is not worth, don't run it on just regular
3) Parts definitely take time i think it's 2 weeks-1 month. Some companies do have aftermarket parts now

I do not have any experience with Haval but MG is more common nowadays.
Things not so good
1)The gearbox would still be stupid like the civic X
2)Full turning radius isn't the best in class

Agreed, This is the worst issue with MG. About the gearbox, I read on australian forums that there is a software update that makes it smoother.

In stop and go traffic its really annoying. otherwise I don't feel it.

Another annoying thing is , if car is standing on an upward incline you put it in drive as soon as you let go of the break pedal the car rolls back a bit in the time you put your foot on the accelerator and accelerate, similarly if its on a downwards decline and you put it in reverse gear it rolls forward as soon as you let go of the break.

My civic X holds its position on inclines till you touch the accelerator pedal .

Proton X70 holds its posn when on incline without auto hold activated.
Oshan X7 starts rolling back if u dont push the accelerator. However, auto hold function is aval.

No Oshan X7 doesnot roll back in auto hold mode but when auto hold is not activated in drive mode the SUV rolls back on incline if accelerator is not pressed accordingly.

Not true, majority cars with Auto-hold feature (even with Auto-hold turned off) will apply brakes for few seconds on inclines to prevent car rolling backwards. MG doesn't roll back, we just came back from trip to China border and had no issues. Also owned BMWs with DCT, they don't roll back either.

The way to activate is to come to a full stop using the brake pedal. Also NEVER use accelerator to hold position on an incline in a DCT vehicle, that's the fastest way to overheat and damage the DCT transmission.
