Review of your MG HS PHEV?

Right now, I have driven 1000 KM of my MG HS PHEV and it is amazing. Few highlights before detailed review:
1. Excellent pick whenever you accelerate suddenly.
2. 52 - 60 KMs on electric when electric battery is charged 100%.
3. Fuel consumption is 25 km/litre when simply drive on hybrid.
4. Battery charging time is 6 to 7 hours.
5. Gear shifting is extraordinarily seamless.
6. Cabin noise is perfect.
7. Parking sensors are only in rear side.

How does it give 25km/L when electric battery is fully depleted?

Or do you mean when battery juice is still remaining..

When it's battery is fully discharged, then it's Hybrid mode becomes active. It means, it will work like other normal Hybrid cars like vezel, jolion hev, haval hev.. At this time, engine will charge it's batteries through regenerative force. So, during this phase, it's fuel consumption is 25 kms/litre. Otherwise, when it's batteries are 100% charged, at this phase, it is either on fully electric mode through EV button or when it's speed is less than 60 kms/hrs.

So above 60km/h car switches to engine? even if battery is 100% remaining? , lets say my car is at my house fully charged and I take it to ring road right outside DHA and take it to 100 will it remain in EV till batteries last or will it switch to engine.

In Normal mode, whenever the speed cross 60 km/h then it will switch to engine. But, in EV mode (a separate button of EV near gear lever), you can speed your car upto 140 km/h until the battery reaches to zero.

I've also booked one and eagerly waiting for mine iA

That without plug in fuel consumption is very promising since i was the most worried about that part. I was really hoping that even without charge and simply as a hybrid if it achieves 20+ in city that would be really great.

Whats the maintenance schedule company has assigned. Since i think a 5000km oil change schedule is an extreme overkill, especially for someone that has 50%+ mileage on pure ev

Engine oil should be minimum 8k KM interval.. 10k is standard for fully synthetic oil from any major lube brand.

@AABBDDuullaahh brother I doubt it does 20km+/L in non EV mode.. that is usually only achieved by dedicated full on hybrids like Prius or Aqua within city.

I appreciate @mgkhan2000 brothers details but to me it seems like he might not have calculated it correctly. Can you please share the figure shown on meter after driving at least 100km in non EV mode within city?

Also on highway driving I have heard it gives terrible average so whenever going on motorway or out of town one might be disappointed .

Well honestly all CSUVs here in Pakistan (sportage etc league) all do maximum 12_13kmpl on the highway. So if MG does even 11 I wont be much disappointed. Since that's expected.
As long as the highway economy is almost similar to other comparable offerings, it would be great. Since it's best use if EV driving for daily city commutes

Well for me to be honest, it's just great value for money in the current market. Its after a very long while that a car is launched at a VERY GOOD price point. The VFM forced me to buy it without thinking too much. I'd surely praise MG wherever I can if the experience goes good, for delivery (delivered on commited 9.5mil invoice) and aftersales
