As per available information, this price is for limited numbers of units and introductory launch purposes and "SELECTED" people. Also they are selling these through a third party on street general car dealerships which makes this so called introduction fishy & confusing. EVEN these introductory units to selected individuals MUST be sold via the MG own dealerships NOT through unknown dealerships like the one such in F10 Islamabad.
Personally, I think they could have done a better job. As of today , there is NO website, NO specifications, NO dealership network details BUT ordering information is released. Not sure if a vehicle should be launched this way. Keep in mind a best product can fail if it's not marketed properly , have no or limited service and support and create a doubt in customer mind with no upfront clarity especially when a product cost near 6 Million.
A buyer must be be able to visit a company showroom, experience and interact with the vehicle and test drive without any obligation. Briefly the seller itself is confused about what they are doing and what direction they are moving. I hope these things are corrected ASAP , if they want to succeed in local market. As of now it looks like an un-planned introduction to the company that too in new market.
