I believe Alsvin is a fail too... it competes with picanto and cultus (celerio) worldwide in the same price bracket... here they went against yaris, big mistake.

If no one cares about Hyundai against Toyota, then they would care even less for a weird Chinese sounding company that named their car against ALVIN and the chipmunks

I am sure this is "marketing strategy" of Javed Afridi, and has nothing to do with MG. Haven't seen a single UK flag anywhere in MG India.

Agreed. I had to take special permission at Shahnawaz as they weren't letting me in the service area. I was glad i was there as the mechanic there was about to pour water inside my cooling system.
So, our people have this ' o kuch nai hota' attitude for which guys like us have to be extra vigilant. Even, people at Honda service areas aren't allowed to be there but people mostly push their way easily inside their service areas.
I have observed multiple times how the mechanics behave in all of these big 3 service areas. They mostly fool you around just for their 'Diharri' and you wouldn't even notice if they put an old oil/air filter inside your car. The new one would be sold to another customer in discounted prices.
It's not the companies who are at fault here imo , they have all the rules in place.
All these mechanics are local guys who appear to be Pakistanis as well.... Dao lagana , do numbri karna ya paisay kamana is what they've learnt and it's difficult to change that behavior.

Reminds of a Baleno GLIp back in 1999-200. Someone had it covered with all sorts of posters with BADleno written all over the car. The car was parked at Liberty roundabout of i am not wrong.

The issue is people want a new company to come to Pakistan and then boom have a network of dealers and 3s everywhere.
That's not possible.
Everything takes time.
Idk people here on this forum have some special issues with MG, maybe they're kia owners or what idk.

I'm looking for a crossover for myself i have checked all of them and tbvh MG is way superior. Looks, features, technology.
If someone is investing so much money, why do you think he'll give up on it? Out of all the crossovers this one is the most I've heard about from people in real life. Get out of this forum, ask the public everyone's a fan. I see 2 3 daily in islamabad.
I went to check proton and they said I'll get delivery next march. But people won't say a word. Idk why so much criticism.

Then there are some people who'll say it's chinese while they type from their chinese phone.
China is everywhere, apple, Samsung all huge companies.
China is the future, belive it or not.
