MG may disappear from Pakistan Automotive scene before 2025. To date there is no infrastructure machinery is in place against their auto assembling license. Being a political stalwart the owners' are taking advantage of muscle. A whistle blower has already alerted NAB / MOI for massive financial scamming by MG Pakistan.1 is already in open i.e under invoicing of CBU vehicles, 2nd one is about duty free import for plant machinery under automotive license.

With an 'AMERICAN auto engine' in a CHINESE BRAND with British Flag., invest carefully. The vehicle value drop fast if after sales service and availability of spare parts has a BIG RED question mark. AUDI failed only because of 2 such factors.

After hearing from different places, how the cars are being delayed and they keep offering black interior cars even to those who have Brown or Red bookings.
To clear things up went to the MG Lounge a few days back and the manager assured me that I will get my car on the 3rd week of May as promised and the interior would be the same I booked. Let's see how that goes, will keep you guys updated.

no it is not. Excise Offices across Pakistan are not registering MG vehicles as yet. It is only off the media because insignificant news, case is still open at FBR.

There is an MG fan club on facebook and it is filled with debates of closed registration which are replied with cars that have already been registered and some that are even being registered nowadays. You don't see the ones on the road to be registered much because most owners are being lured by the offers of up to 10lakh own which is something they won't get if they register the car

The assembling plant is under construction in lahore.
At the haier factory, javed afridi has 600 acre land possession there.
The poton tundland is being assembled there as well.

2 MG HS Vehicles a RED & a WHITE are daily seen in commercial area parking with AFR 2021 (painted in bleeding font) plates which are not legal numbers.

Several people have verified in MG groups that they had no problem in registration and have registered them as well as recieved their smart card.

Is MG HS (CBU) booking open or closed? Any idea when are they giving the delivery of now booked cars? Am thinking of getting it on lease, for quite sometime now, but then get scared if the company evaporates or something 🤣. MG HS is a sweet vehicle though.
