As we always say, its NOT the product alone which make it a succes. It is also THE after sales service and support which makes or breaks it. A mediocre product with excellent customer experience can win while a best product can fail if there is poor , mismanaged show from the seller.
If you can't deliver, don't take booking at the first place. Taking money and then in many cases even with full payment upfront and then not able to deliver will only make things worse. We know its world wide issue with Pandemic but the companies must be clear with buyer on it and don't hold on their money with excuses. Currently there is NO clarity. There is also a news that CBU booking is closed but dealer still take bookings of MG HS and neither dealer nor buyer know what he will be getting.. a CBU, a CKD and when.
Unfortunately, these vehicles are not available to genuine customers from actual dealers BUT outside, used car generic dealerships have it in stock and in multiple numbers [ brand new ] all across the country and are sold at Premium/ black money mafia. Every few weeks we hear about a vessel reaching Karachi port with 100's of MG on board, not sure what's going on.
You can find hundreds of new MG HS at used car dealers all across Pakistan at various locations and they keep on selling and refilling their spots again and again. Which clearly seems like its all inside trading, intentional demand supply gap and make more money by selling it on higher price than the sticker price.
A genuine customer can't get hand on the vehicle BUT these black marketers get it right away through their connections with the actual dealers by unethical under the table business practices. There is no COVID DELAY if you pay 800,000 as Black Money.
I mentioned it yesterday as well and copy paste same here again that in Pakistan, “SOME “ car companies cut cakes and celebrate 1000,2000,10,000, 17000 bookings. Personally to me its deceptive, this does not matter and does not make any sense to celebrate. For me the sales statistics and success only and should matter and celebrated when the company deliver the vehicle to the customer.
Eating cakes and have social media photoshoots with no delivery, is like KHAYA PIYA KUCH NAHI GLASS TORA BARAH AANA.
Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg. These issues are not related to just one brand. This is just one such example. As a consumer it's our utmost responsibility that we reject and don't interact in any deal which involves the black money.
