Literally just came from the showroom 30 mins ago. Previous bookings will not have to pay the difference because they ordered the 54.5 "trophy" and not the newer 57.5 "exclusive trophy"

show room sales does not know how the govt policy works, They smoke weed and party all night when they sell off BOOKING DOCUMENT ON PREMIUM for vehicles which are yet to be delivered at dealerships.

@KamranAslam can explain more about price payment at time of delivery. every dot increment under govt policy has to be paid by the buyer before delivery is signed off. Even it was booked at 100% down, 16 weeks ago.

After Jan 2021 PS takes full payments delivery time allotted can be delayed from 4 weeks to 6 weeks from the given time. No compensation on delayed deliveries.

Under PAMA policy consumer has the right to cancel his/her booking, under the manufactures' policies.

My booking date is first week of April with August Delivery Date and MG lounge just confirmed me that i will be getting Exclusive Trophy Grade version with 300k price increase along with 2-4 features upgrade, which i think wont be very big either.

Basically those who have deliveries till July are not affected by this price increase and so will receive the current CBU unit.

Sir even the regular trophy variants have been booked till october. It is impossible for them to give you the car till August as I have booked on the first day of march and i got july/august and that means. The toprhy was booked till 19th march which is booked fully till spet/oct unless they start importing the exclusive alongside the regular trophy

@KamranAslam i book a vehicle for 100% down delivery after 8 weeks. In between the govt policy change bring changes to manufacturer pricing. Revision to xx% higher then my price of advance down 100%? DO I HAVE TO PAY the price difference at time of delivery from dealership. ?

This is not an updated HS. It is the China only MG Linghang which is based on the HS. It does not replace the HS but is sold alongside it in China. The chinese love making their own versions of cars based on other platforms but these cars are 100% of the time China specific.

Here is a similar example of a fifth gen CRV and the Honda Breeze which is baed off of it and is china only. They are both sold together at the same time in China. The breeze is not a CRV facelift and the CRV here is in fact the latest model worldwide.
