Record-breaking Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher must have been ecstatic to hear he’d be getting a private island as a gift- until he heard it was in the Antarctic! Fortunately for him, the Antarctic in question was located in sunny Dubai, as part of development company Nakeel’s innovative World Project. Few developments have attained the level of publicity as this set of 300 man-made isles dredged from the seafloor and arranged to resemble continents and countries, so it was a subject of much speculation as to who’d be the first to stake their claim. Worth approximately US $7M, the island was given to Schumacher by Dubai’s crown prince as a retirement present, and has a spectacular home, beautiful beach and manicured garden. Not bad for the land of snow and ice.
-> Nice peaceful happy life on the island.WoW!!!awsum
