Mileage of common cars in saudi arabia that we have here

I was in Saudi Arabia for a month and was intrigued to find the mileage of cars posted/pasted on the rear left side window of car doors.

They all put 91 ron petrol there.
Here are the pics. And thats government certified i think.

. Nissan altima 2017 model with a mileage of 17 kmpl. 2500 cc car

Then nissan sunny mileage posted. 16kmpl 1500 cc car

Toyota corolla new model had17.8 mileage written unfortunately i couldn't take the picture.

Next is camry picture then toyota yaris (19.9kmpl and 1300cc car )and hyndai elantra i think giving mileage of 20.2 kmpl. These are achieved when the AIR CONDITIONER is turned ON.

This post might be irrelevant. But just to give you an idea of how same cars perform on 91ron petrol with stock settings. No liquimoly or other mileage enhancing products being used.

But i feel if use liqui moly or other enhancing products here. We may get more mileage but the cost of buying those products may equal in other way.

fortunately you have snapped the pictures of Cars from either desi community around you or from expatriate residential locations. , they consider SIN of removing any decal / sticker from the car when purchased new from dealerships.

The data about engine & its efficiency is pasted from inside over the new cars is mandatory (by law) in KSA, just like in USA. There is nothing abnormal to it, keeping it pasted after purchase is the show-off mindset almost every expat have, they want to show people back home for very long and it seems abnormal.

i know one person in KSA @memad who got brand new Land Cruiser and protected the pasted shipping details of his vehicle over the front windscreen under rear view mirror for over an year.

91 RON sure is high efficiency petrol and lately SHELL & PSO started selling it in Pakistan Too.

The reason i put or took the pics is the mileage. And the Altima 2017 is my cousins car. The milage of corolla is same like city here. Stock oil and settings.

And he came from Riyadh to Madina in one full tank of 60 liters. From riyadh it is 900 km plus in madina and in riyad it was almost 50 km. and he drove the car at speed of 220 kmph.

i used to think they place such cards to avoid sunlight... never get a chance to have a close look though...
