Mileage of Toyota Aqua dropped to 17-18 KM/L

Dear i have same Problem with aqua. You have to go to workshop for throtal service. 100% ur car give good millage

The core issue is type of fuel, engine oil and cabin filter
Get fuel from good petrol station. 92 RON specifically. Do not got for Hi-Octane
Pour in full synthetic engine oil. 0W20 / 5W20 0r 0W30 grading. Don't go higher than this
Never use guard air filter. Use toyota genuine air filter or other high quality air filters.

Dear I have aqua 2013 s model.
It was within city avg. Of 18-20 km/L
I got it checked in lahore. Meter reading about 80k Km.
I was told to that catalytic converter is choked needs to b replaced.
I went for full body throttle, catalytic converter change, changed spark plug, gear oil, hybrid service.

Now it's giving mileage within city of 13-14Km/L
Solutions?????

You have been ripped by the mechanic. Most mechanics in KHI seem to be the children of the devil. That's my personal experience in Karachi.

You must tune your car after every 6 months. You can tune your maf sensor, changing air filter, cleaning your car throttle, plug cleaning and proper tightening as well other wise your car compression will be weak, clean only the threads of irridium plugs and wash the tip with petrol only, do not rub the spark producing tips of irridium plugs with sand paper. It will inshallah solve your problem. You can go for other options if still facing problems. Note. Problem solution most of the times lies in small things.

Clean your maf sensor, never change catalytic converter for first time just clean it by your self, tight your spark plugs proper, some times you loose power from compression leaking, the quality and gauge of petrol matters, always clean your air filter after 1 month. It may help.
