Mileage of Toyota Aqua dropped to 17-18 KM/L

I imported Toyota Aqua last year. I started driving it in Lahore in December. It was giving me average mileage of 22-24 KM/L but from the last 3 weeks it has dropped to 17-18 KM/L.
I take good care of car maintenance. I am using Zic Oil 0W-30 Hybrid and buy it directly from company authorized dealer. Also I get my fuel tank filled from army operated shell station in Lahore Cantt.
Kindly guide me what could be the possible reasons of drop in mileage.

Heat..... The weather is very hot and the battery losses its efficiency in hot climates. So it's operating hot and then cant hold that much charge and cant deliver the same amount of charge as in winters. Batteries are very temperature sensitive

It Depends On Driving Conditions....! With Heavy Foot And City Driving..It Drops Down to 17-18 Where U Usually Drive Above ECO Zone

On Clean Road With Maintained Speed...It Will Give You Better Mileage....Also Change Pump To Check The Results..It May Differ...!

Its 2012 model. 2015 import. 21000 KM driven till now

just got the Air Filter changed. Got slightly better but not how it has to be.

Absolutely correct. But people find it hard to believe.
Also the electric AC is a huge load on the batteries so the engine runs all the time to keep the charge up.

When I imported it. It was 15000 KM driven. I verified through auction sheet. Mileage was genuine.

I am seeing similar issue in Hot weather with my aqua (2013 model 30K odo ). Drops to 14 km/L. During nice weather w/o A/C goes back up to 22. Did you figure out what the issue was ?. Did you get it fixed ?. I heard it could be hybrid battery ventilation issue. I checked the hybrid battery vent fan on mine & that is working fine. The fan is sucking in Air. I cant verify the vent exhaust as it just seems to go into the side trim.

You can easily unclip the side trim. Clean the vent if choked. Also check cabin air filter.
