Millage of 1.3 gli

a.0.a guys how are you. i have some concerns about millage of my 2012 gli 1.3 manual. i reset its millage meter and now on smooth road it is showing 17.1 average without ac and multimedia.in traffic it gave 16.5-16.7.i want to know can this car go upto as high as above 17. do millage metre show legit average.

This is not an accurate measurement. Accurate mileage is around 13KM/L in city and around 16-17 on highway.

My corolla also shows 16km/l on meter but in actual i think its not more then 12km/l.

If you drive with light foot and your route is not through heavy traffic areas then 14-16 kmpl is routinely possible with your car regardless of meter display.

is there any accurate way to measure millage?

Fill fuel tank to the brim and drive to the end.
Fill again to the brim and divide total number of liters filled with total driven kms.
Total kms driven/total liters refilled
Simple.
