Mini Pajero or Potohar, Please Advise

Hello PW's and Experts!

I need your advice whether to buy a mini pajero or a suzuki potohar.

Reason: I need to have a jeep at home for no particular reason, just bcoz i like jeeps. (I also need to stay within 400k) I will be keep it for good.
Things to consider,

Whether buy an old potohar and rebuild it to my specifications i.e Modifying it

or

Buy a mini pajeor, drive it till the engine has power. Once engine dies, modify it with a better engine, like a suzuki engine or something?

Please advise what should i do?

Potohar. Far better. And do wonders in offroading...

Get a used Mini Pajero with a weak engine and fit it with a Potohar 1000cc engine......this will be the best combo.....and you will still be within your 400K range.

Dude go 4 potohar. Pure off-roader. if u want a small off-roader then go 4 it. its fuel consumption is 9km/litre. do replace those crappy seats which r currently being offered in potohar. u shud modify it by first replacing its suspension and installing a better 1 for off roading n walaa u hav an off roader. new potohar costs 650k and n old 1998 model will cost u around 325k. get an old 1 n install a toyota 2C engine, change the suspension and get some good tyres. blv me u`ll enjoy it. i just bought a potohar n it rocks!!

Guys a little info. for you. I won't be using it a whole lot for offroading, this would mostly be used in the city and every once in a blue moon, might go for offroading.

My personal thought was buying a potohar but then thought about the pros. and cons of both the jeeps and got confused.

Mini pajero has,

Better interior,
Power steering,
Better AC,
Better Braking system,
Better looks,
Japan Assembled,

What do you say guys?? Help me out here please.

my cousin has got a suzuki jimny 91 model 660 turbo...all original..power steering, ac, isb computerized no....bought it last year from pak japan motors....very nice car....the car is in bahawalpur....if u're interested lemme know will ask him...

Thanks for the offer, but i m into getting a jeep near hyderabad sindh. Also it should have registeration of karachi. The model should be 96+

if engine swap is no prob for u then go for mini paji
ps , alloy rims, air bags, cd, power windows, auto, 4wd, luxury , turbo, good a/.c, abs brakes etc etc etc u can never get in a potohar. if u can fit a bigger engine than 660cc in it .. it can do heavy off roading too ...
do whatever u like but plz dont compare a local suzuki with mitsubishi japan .. they might commit sucide
but if u ppl break and kill the car then go for potohar..

Potohar is hand built. Cheap spares. Very reliable and time tested in Pakistani conditions. Spares are easily available. Feul economy is good.

Whereas Mini Pajero spares are quite expensive and not so much available. Swapping an engine isnt that easy. Feul economy is pathetic.

Potohar is the most capable hardcore offroader but for everything else minipajero is a much better vehicle. And please when swapping its engine do not go for potohar engine in minipajero.
@All Please does any one have power specs for mini and poto engines? please post.
