Mira ES ECO IDLE issue explained

Hey guys!!!
I just bought a Mira ES and was worried about its Eco idle not working so here are some of the things which you could try to get it working
1.Make sure your air bags light switched off after few seconds of engine start
2.Sealt belt is fasten
It should work with above conditions reached ,still if the problem persist,then try what I tried..
Open the car bonet,and detach the terminal of car, (+) for about 15 seconds
this is just for resetting the ecu and the eco idle chip
Now eco idle should work. still not working then go to a electrician and asked him to check the connections of the lithium ion battery under the back seat. As these cars are imported and have to stay for months without use.. so some do detach the wires befores sending.

Looks like there is a lot of confusion regarding the Mira E:S Eco Idle.

Here are the answers for your queries..

1. If you are not wearing seat belt, ECO idle will not work.
2. By default ECO Idle is enabled.. i.e. when you switch on the engine, ECO Idle is enabled automatically.
3. If you don't want to use ECO Idle just press the the ECO Idle button and you will see the ECO Idle OFF indicator in meter.
4. ECO Idle functionality works with battery charge so it wont start working as soon as you start the car. it will take some time and when battery is charged you will see ECO IDLE (in green) indicator in the meter.
5. If the ECO Idle light is blinking and is yellow color then you have to get your car checked through scanning. Please contact Mr. Aziz who is Toyota certified mechanic and has the scanner. 03455187641.
6. ECO idle, ABS, CVT are connected, even if a ABS wheel barring is faulty you can see all these three alarm indicators on your meter. So best thing is to get your car checked from a professional. Don't let any mechanic play with your car..Scanning will get you to the real cause.

AOA. I have daihatsu mira es 2014.The car main battery got totally dead so I replaced it with Fujika dry battery. But now fuel average has dropped from 15.7 to 8.2 After some drive average increases to 10km/l but not more..
Secondly echo idle is not getting turned on(showing no echo idle green sign on odometer)
When the battery was intact Echo idle used to get turned on automatically after few minutes drive(not just after the engine start). But now there is no response.
What is the cause and its solution.

My Mira 2016 had the same issue that Eco Idle was not working i was so much disturb, after cheching some electrical connection i unplugged the Battery terminals from main Battery for almost 30 minutes n then re connected as your advised. Now problum resolved & Eco Idle again started working, more over Fuel level indocator also showing one extra point of Fuel in indicator.
