Which brake oil is to be used in mira, the brand, quantity and type

what fuel avg are you guys getting on your mira? My car gives roughly 10-12 in city with AC.

Need suggestion on how to improve car avg, considering car is mostly driven in city

Mira 2015
- 100k+ km mileage
- recently done tuning, oil changed (5w30), oil filter, air filter replaced
- gear oil changed (toyota) and cat cleaned few months back

U should use Zic 0w20 oil in ur engine. Hopefully u will feel the difference

And did U use Toyota CVT TC oil for the transmission? How is the experience?

Guys actually i have already bought Toyota CVT TC oil for my Mira but when i call Toyota 3s they make me afraid that transmission oil change is totally done on customer risk as they get customer complaints after CVT oil change

Should i go to my normal mechanic?

Mira 2013 and above models need Toyota CVT FE transmission oil which is a bit thin as compared to CVT TC which was used for older models of Mira. Mira e:s manual says that you can use both DC or DFE but mileage will be good with DFE. As I already mentioned ammex DC or DFE is not available in Pakistan and equivalent of DC is Toyota CVT TC and equivalent of DFE is Toyota CVT FE. Dont go for other oils other then toyota otherwise your CVT gear will be ruined as cautioned in the manual. I would suggest you to return CVT TC and get CVT FE. You can change the oil from a good mechanic, its not necessary to change from Toyota service centers. Ask your mechanic to open the chamber of gearbox, drain the oil, clean the filter and then replace the oil. Regarding amount 4 lit will be enough as some oil remains in the gear box after drainage. I have extensively researched about Mira transmission oil and came to the conclusion that brands other then toyota like caltex, zic's viscosity does not match with ammex DC or DFE so dont go for other brands.

And some people saying if ur car is running good why changing cvt oil
It was changed in japan at 42000 now car is at almost 97000

Hello sir. I am driving Mira 2013 registered 2016. Its milage are around 90000 kns. No doubt its a good city car.
I am planning to visit Muzafarabad, Azad Kashmir. Plz guide is it feasible to go by road in Mira?
As i have no such experience taking Mira on such a long route and above all over hilly roads of Kashmir.

So guys anyone having such experience, plz guide.

How much a mechanic charge for this process?
I talked to 3 mechanics one located in defence area he is asking Rs 1200/- and saying the whole process might take around 3hrs as they will apply silicone somewhere, after draining oil from chamber, which will take time to dry
Second one was in Sultanabad area of Karachi he is my father old mechanic he is asking for Rs 2500/- (wow) for same process and time around 1.5hrs
Last one is located opposite to Aladin he is actually a very good parts dealer and was himself mechanic in the past but now in addition to parts business keeps some mechanic at his shop as well he is asking only Rs 600/- for same process and saying that the silicone packing doesn’t take that much time to dry rather it will dry in around 15min or so and total process will be around 1hr

So what ur experience say which i go for? The price if last one is tempting and the locality of first one is a posh area (may be having some better equipment)

Which spark plugs are to used in mira 2015 and at what mileage interval

Its better to remove plugs and see their make and number and buy that one. These plugs have specific heat numbers and using other plugs with different heat numbers wont work well.

Hi sir , I have Mira 2014 model 2017 registered , i was previously using Castrol 5w/30 OIL , My Car was giving 18/19 Km without A/C and 15/16 With A/C - And when my car runs 3000 kms My mechanic Changed the Oil , He used Pso 20w/50 Oil , Now My car is giving 9/10 Km on A/C and maximum 11.8 without A/C , My car is already crossed the 60000 Km , and Now it is 63040 km . please Let me know why my car suddenly gone from 19 to 11 . I have used the Gear filter of Vic . And Air filter of Leppon !

Also i want to know the Fuel tank capacity of the car also

Bhai mira mein jis mechanic ne 20w 50 dala hai us per pehlay tou aap muqadma kerein
Aur jald az jald zic 0w-20 per shift hojaein werna aap ki gari tabah ho jae gi

Aoa Guys,
I have Mira Es 2015/18

Its mileage is about 63k. Recently bought it. Previous owner was using 10w40 of Total. Its giving me pretty good average of 23km/l on long and about 19-20 on local.

Should i use the same oil that the previous owner suggested or chose another one?

Help would be appreciated.

Use zic 0w 20 and u will see significant improvement and only allowed oil as per mira manual are 0w-20 and 5w-30
