Dear, do the following:
1) Replace air filter ( if not done)
2) Replace engine oil to Zic 0W30 grade oil.
3) Re-set the ECU
To reset ecu, do the following:
1) Warm engine at idle, and switch off the engine and remove the key.
2) Remove the negative (-ive) terminal battery cable for 20 minutes.
3) Connect back the negative battery terminal.
4) Switch ON the ignition for 5 sec but do not start.
5) Switch off the ignition.
6) Switch ON and start the engine and let the engine warm-up.
7) Switch ON the AC for 10 sec and then switch off the AC.
8) with foot on brake and hand brake engaged, put transmission selection on D (drive) for 10 sec and then back to P parking)
9) Switch OFF the engine.
10) Take the vehicle on drive very slowly at a speed of 40 to 50 for about 15 minutes.
All done, you will get best average after ecu reset.

Will the same ecu reset procedure (described by you as above) be equally good to get better mileage from 2004 Vitz 1000cc and 2006 Fielder 1500cc (40th Anniversary) with Odo 155k and 175k respectively without having any new issues ... kindly inform with thanks.
