Mira eS vs Mira Custom

Hello everyone, new here.

I have been looking to buy a car for quite sometime now. Was searching for a MIRA Custom when yesterday i came across a 2011 Model Mira e:S. The dealer did say it gives almost 25+ km/l average. I was quite impressed by the car although the shape of the back of the car isn't impressive at all as compared to a Mira Custom.

So anyways i wanted if you guys could tell me which one would be a better option to buy? Whats the fuel consumption in city and out-city of Mira e:S? A 2011 Mira eS or a 2009/2010 Model Mira Custom. Since my budget is maximum around Rs10,50,000/-. Can't find a Mira Custom right now but still searching for it although the 2011 Model White Color Unregistered Mira e:S is being sold for 10,30,000/- from that dealer. Condition of that car seemed pretty Okay. Mileage stated 16,000+ KM.

Please list pros and cons of both the cars considering the models. Since the Mira e:S comes in different versions/options the one i saw didn't have a climate control option (simple knobs for thermostat and fan) and also didn't have a start/stop button. So which version is that? Apart from that it is exactly the same as shown here in this link (Daihatsu Mira e:S launched in Japan - 30km/l on this one).

Would be really glad if you guys can help me out in making the right decision.

Mira Custom sure has beauty. What the difference between both their fuel consumption's?

Mira custom is not worth buying because it has engine heat up isues and poor resale issue

Mira es I think is bit over priced and personally I dont like its shape if you want to go for mira than go for mira x limited edition

Since mira es is around 11 lacs so imo in budget of 11 lacs why not new shape passo

Mira es comes with the idle stop, eco mode, regenerative energy from braking (something like that which reduces burden on generator) fuel economy can go to 30km/l..digital meter. personally i don't like Mira Es shape.

Custom, with 14" alloys looks beauty for sure. I have driven one but disappointed.

Mira es shuts off at signals like hybrid and all other electronics work on external batteries and its giving me 21 kmp/l
It is surely a better choice

What else do u want ?
And the right price for es 2012 is 10 lack not above of basic grade

Mine is on the way to Pakistan .

But bought one for a class teacher o.f mine and drove that one
Excellent car
And we managed to get milage of 21 km
Although we drove it at speeds of 90-100 sometimes and its silent and you wont feel that you are going fast ..
Anything else ?

Ok bro i sure will
And Road grip is not as good as compared to alto because Daihatsu installed low friction tyres in their cars for fuel saving purpose which destroys road grip..
As the experts say Either you will get fuel consumption or road grip from a tyre not both from one ......
Btw Vehicle stability control is there to help on harsh turns.

In sha allah Mira Es will be the most imported car of 2014, which means its resale will increase , and those who say 660cc does just 11-12 km they will be happy too with Mira ES.

Some one in Japan got this average from a Mira Es 2013
Although,Daihatsu claims 33.4km/l.
One of our fellow Pak Wheeler got 31.1 from his Mira ES 2012 for which Daihatsu claims 30 or 31 km/l.

Which car do you like ?
I think Economy is now days better than shape ? Still a mira es basic grade should cost around 2012 model 9 50 but with airbags at 10

Dear brother,

Like, you I also liked Mira Custom and was looking for it. When, I google for other Kei cars who are most fuel efficient, found Mirs e.S. Although it is not beautiful as Mira Custom, but I went for fuel efficiency not beauty.

I wanted to buy Mira e.S GF version which comes with climate control and Push Start but in Pakistan could not find good one. All were major accident-ed.

Finally, I had to compromise on simple Mira e.S 2013 x version with only front bumper repaired.
