MIRA gear doesn't shift after 100 to 200 meters of drive

Salam everyone!
I first faced the problem about a month back. Took it to a mechanic, he changed the gear oil and cleaned the gear filter. As per him the gear oil had become too dusty hence resulted to lack power. The problem fixed at that time and worked for nothing more than a month.
After one month the same problem occurred again. Although, during tht time of one month i did feel heaviness in gear shift, as it was not that frequent. The gear shifts were with bumps and specially the reverse gear used to shift after 2 to 3 seconds with a certain bump. Then one day the major problem occurred. I took it to the same mechanic, this time he and his gear expert mechanic suggested to change the gear box as the oil pump is not working properly.
Now I am confused and reluctant to do so and basically unable to believe the mechanic. Please guide me and suggest how to proceed.

MIRA year model -

Not all Mira are CVT so there is most likely issue of wrong ATF in the transmission

Sorry because its not 2008 model, its 2007.
Secondly please guide me where to find that trans/axle code. I tried to search but unable to find it.

To what i remember it's on right side pillar.

Please see what it reads on your shifter housing and cluster if it reads (P/R/N/D/3/2), (P/R/N/D/2/L) or (P/R/N/D/S/B)
If it's (P/R/N/D/3/2) then it's a 4 Speed Auto tranny.
If it's (P/R/N/D/2/L) then it's a 3 Speed Auto tranny.
If it's (P/R/N/D/S/B) then it's a CVT tranny.

Mine is (P/R/N/D/3/2). It means it's a 4 speed auto tranny.
Do i still need to quote the code or it's enough to determine the suitable gear oil?

Its type4 toyota oil . Better go toyota authorize dealer they know better

which is also called mobil 3309 ATF oil.

You can also use Aisin ATF, around 500 per litre.

I dont think aisin has one ATF, - the mobil 3309 is literally toyota T-IV - I know its not a synethetic oil but it works absolutely perfect in toyota TIV applications.
