Mira not performing well after Tune Up , NEED HELP

Salam

I have a Mira 2007 Auto. One month back i took my car to Toyota Walton(where i always go) for car tune up and throttle body cleanup after 15K of running. Now after doing that i drove the car for the first time (as my family was using it) a week back and i noticed that it was missing going up the revs and it was also hesitant of going above 80kmph. I never have had this problem before. The only difference this time was the throttle body clean up , never had that before.

Now i need to know two things
1- What could be problem
2- What is the best place to get the JDM cars tuned via Computer and get throttle body clean Up

EDIT : My brother told me that he had the car serviced and engine washed , so i checked the air filter for any dampness but it was OK but i still changed it , had the car checked at Honda Pit Stop cavalry motors , there diagnosis is Fuel filter problem , they are saying it is due at 60K and my odo is at 72K.

What about for general tuneup

never go for extra tuning ... i mean unless you feel slight problem specially throttle body. Mechanics care only their workshops business not your car or your money although its local workshop or Toyota,Honda, Suzuki. But to some extent private workshop are far better because they need to create goodwill. Never compromise on oils, filters, plugs regular maintenance. Its my personal experience.

hav u replaced the spark plugs if yes which plugs hav u put in now as Mira hav much different plugs thn usually available one

There is work shop in model town called MAGIC Motors, The can tune your car well, they also having injector cleaning services, Get your car plugs checked, throttle body clean, and if necessary get injectors clean as well.

magic motors or any other cannot tune these cars.All they can do is cleaning n scanning/checking for faulty parts thts it!

What else these car want rather then regular maintenance?? Even I have been using my Wagon-R with out tuning, never scan.. covered 17000 KM in one year. Just on Oil Change / Filters Change.

After scan he might know the reason of low performance of MIRA, throttle body and injector cleaner may also help to improve the performance..

Yeh lesson learned i was well off with the way my throttle body was before , but i had my car checked again , the suspect seems to be the fuel filter as checked by toyota and honda pitstop cavelry motors. They are instructing to replace it, but i heard it can be serviced.

Got them of the same number as in the manual , btw in this tuning i only had throttle body and basic rpm adjustment done.
i am really dreading that decision. But now the problem seems to be with the fuel filter though

Had throttle body clean up from toyota 2-3 weeks back and this problem is not throttle body related i think as if it was the car would also struggle at low rpms , the problem only comes at high rpm.

the problems is surely due to chocked fuel filter because it cannot cope up with the increased demand of fuel at high rpm.

i also had a mira few months ago , i also faced same problem after getting throttle body service, i took my car to iqbal pyara in bilal gunj , he just did a little adjustment to throttle body after opening it but before opening T.B he checked my car with scanner. i think he just adjusted a sensor . but it cost me Rs.2500.

Thanks bro , but i went to toyota again they said throttle body is fine , but will have it checked again by another workshop, maybe the one you tell of before the fuel filter service or change

the filter is a 60K kms item to be replaced. when you say that the engine was tuned - can you post the results of the following.

1 - fuel pressure
2 - misfire count
3 - ignition advance
4 - ECU fuel mode (closed or open)
5 - did you fill fuel to the top of the neck (the charcoal canister can flood from this and cause big vacuum leaks)

Was a valve clearance check performed - I do not know of the design inside, but being a toyota engine it would have solid buckets if its twin camshaft, adjusting the tappet gap requires replacement of buckets with required thickness items.

Dont have the info on me now , but i can note them the next time i go for a tune up which is in a couple of weeks , for now i am running the car at low revs and minimalistic distance , as for the fuel filling i always go for the auto stop fill at the pump , according to my brother the car ran fine even 4-5 days after tuning so i think every thing was fine uptill then.

The mileage is 73K now so the most prob suspect will be fuel filter , tell me can it be serviced if yes from where and with what efficency will it work after wards.

Will see the tappet thing this weekend when i get the time, though the mechanic at toyota said they dont mess with that stuff during tune up.

Also they instructed me to run the car on approx 70% hav to regular fuel mix , what difference will that make ?

Fuel filter is most likely to be the culprit, get a new one.
