bro i have vitz 2002 model and i wana use good bulbs for bumpers and headlites...which bulb i should use? is vitz hai h3 or h4 bulbs?

I would suggest using yellow bulbs as fog lights are meant to be used with bulbs with a lower color temperature.Not sure which bulb your car uses, I think it is H11 or H3 but I don't know for certain.

Q : does the halogen's u mentioned (Phillips etc) comes in other colors like white,or yellowish white.

Phillips X-Tremes are whiter than normal halogens but not as white as hids.
Osram Nightbreakers are similar.
Phillips Rally bulbs are same color temperature as OEM halogens but they are almost twice as brighter.

One question, i am planning to install HID in projectors of a 95 civic . Any idea anout the heat HIDs generate? hope they wont melt my light!!

HID bulbs run cooler than Halogen bulbs believe or not.Unlike halogen bulbs, HID bulbs give out little to no heat radiation.That is why a car covered with Halogen bulb will melt snow off the headlamps but a car with HID bulbs wont.

So no worries on your housings melting.

Really impressed by the knowledge you shared with us, may I add that projectors "with cut off line" were developed to cut the glare to oncoming traffic. Unfortunately we are using all these gadgets to dazzle or blind the oncoming traffic.

Lets also talk about courtsy and manners, dont use high beam in city.

I think Honda City comes with H4 bulbs.If that is the case then I recommend the following bulbs in increasing order of output.

Phillips Rally Bulb < Osram Nightbreakers < Phillips X-Tremes.All these are Halogen bulbs and I would recommend you to stay away from HID kits.

Now the latter two will need to be imported as they are not available in Pakistan.

HID's nor Halogen bulbs blur the plastic.

If the cut off shield that produces the cut off line did not exist in the projector housing then the projectors would have essentially been a high beam projectors.

The same concept is used in bi-xenon projectors which have a solenoid attached to the cut off shield.When you flick a switch, the solenoid activates and moves the shield and in turn simulates a high beam by letting all the light go through the lens.

Projectors like FX,TL,E55 are good example of bi xenon projectors, the former being the best.

Okhay well i hav a question, im using korealite premium xenon white bulbs in ma baleno n im nt at all satisfied wid the visability. da packing ov da bulbs says dat its halogen h4 4500k super power halogen lamp ... can u suggest wht i shud do bout dis prob??

btw it also says 12v 100/90w. can u suggest sumthn brigter dan dis? waisay tho i also hav da original bulbs dat come wid the baleno but i lyk da white lites so im using these..

If I'm not wrong, they are the blue bulbs right?

If they are then they are useless.You are better off with your stock bulbs.

However, I would suggest Phillips Rally bulbs for your car, they are easily available and will twice the output(The color won't change though).

These are Halogen projectors which are not meant to be used with HID's.

If you do use HID's in them, the output won't be good, and there is a chance of the projectors getting damaged from the inside due to the HID bulbs.

I think you did not go through the thread otherwise you would've known the answer to your question.Please read the title post, there are two kinds of projectors, Halogens and HID/Xenon.

Regarding the projector you have, what bulb does it use?
