@ Momin: I have installed Hids in my reborn on both highs n lows...I have heard there is a visibility issue when its raining.. can anyone tell me if they have experienced any problem in that regard and if yes then is there any solution for it apart from removing the HIDS,.....

There really isn't one.

Try and add 3000K/yellow bulbs in your fog lamps, but this will not be a complete solution.

Thanx a lot buddy. Ill get the fog lights installed now...But the actuall concern is that how bad is the visibility when driving in rain...Is there any visibility at all or is it too risky.. Since i have a frequent use of motorway and that too at night...

Well, the only quick solution is going back to your stock bulbs.

If safety/visibility is a concern than I would not even hesitate to get rid of the HID's.

even if hids produce glare they are some what better then halogen and in fog they just rock

Qwerty you should get 3000K HID bulbs in your fog lamps.You will love them.

Since you are in Karachi , I would suggest you to get Narva Bulbs for your car.

A member in Karachi has posted pictures of the output of the bulbs and he also has an '05 Civic.

Recently i bought HB3/HB4 Philips bulbs from Germany after going through ur post for 05 Civic. After figuring out H8's for fog light i also bought a pair of Osram's standard bulbs.

And im really really happy with the new look and performance of these lights. Much better looks and clear fancy light .

Thanks but recently im stuck in one additional problem. Do you know the type of bulb which comes on when u first turn on the lighting lever on civic.

It is just very low power bulb, and comes on at position 1.
At position 2, low beam turns on. So i want to know the type of bulb that turns on at position 1.

Iv'e had a bad experience with the installation of fog lamps. Standard H8 are 12V 35W and in Lahore, they were selling chinese H8 lamps with 12V 100W specs which are no where to be found on internet. This made me buy Osram, and now with this unknown type bulb burned, i want to get the OE type.

Your help would be highly obliged.

I am pretty sure you are referring to parking/city lights.

These are Wedge Base Bubs and their number(like H4 etc) is 194.

Yes absolutely.

The Projectors that come in a Toyota Camry are halogen projectors and have great visibility(I had an 07 Camry).

I was quoted the price of Rs.3500 from Dubai Autos Rawalpindi for the same projectors.
