Want to buy a mist fan but not sure about its usefulness in summer season. Is it good for outdoor or indoor ? Plz describe your experience.
Best thing for outdoor you will feel AC effect in open air but useless if you are planning to use it indoor and that will be even worse if no cross ventilation.

I didn't install them my self but I experienced them at few buplic places like banquet lawns and open air restaurants and they were chilling like A/C etc
Don't buy it if you are in karachi, as climate of karachi is humid you will end up getting more sweat, that is why room cooler is not being widely used as in pindi/lahore
I agree with Sarkaar. Mist fan is useless rather uncomfortable in Karachi. Only recommended for places with hot and dry weather.
