But I have driven Japanese alto. It's suspensions are not that stiff. Much better. Ek has this inherent issue, I guess.

@alinnauman: I am not very sure but I guess 3.2 to 3.5 ltrs engine oil and 2.2 ltrs gear oil. Ek Gurus can correct me.

salam.. i put an extender to o2 sensor.. n check light gone. but next day again check light is on.

Salam to all brothers. Where can i buy mitsubisk ek rear shock absorbers. How much they cost. They have become rock hard. I live in lahore.

There is a workshop at gurumangut road in gulberg lahore. I dont remember exact name but i can tell tomorrow. I got my eks rear bearings changed for a very nominal price. I dont remember precisely but both wheel bearings, fan belt and labour was a total of 3500. No problems since then.

Salam Brothers , I have a Question please help me , I bought an ek wagon 2013 g model last week , It has this "A" button I didn't knew it means Auto start and go so didn't chk while buying so now the problem is My car is not Auto shutting engine , it just start vibrating when I apply breaks on signal ,
2. Secondly it has a very low pick up until I apply full force on paddle I mean its so low that sometimes on a bridge it starts to show signs of like taking too much power , I mean I cant explain but it doesn't feel right
Plz someone tell me if these problems are repairable or what should I do . THANKS

That button is for shutting off the auto stop! Or if that doesnt work as well then reset the ecu! N problem regarding low pick, mix some hioctane and change jr oil!

Tell me how to reset ecu , bcoz I got it checked by a mechanic but he said after checking through computer , that its engine don't stop only injector get off so its ok and asked fr 500rs fr telling me this sh*t

Take out wires of battery for 5 mins n then u have reset the ecu!

Remember the old problem in almost all EKs; fluttering sound form serpentine belt and belt tensioner when car is in D mode and AC is on. Several people has complained this problem, including Nissan Otti. This is because of faulty Serpentine Belt Tensioner, an auto-adjusting pully responsible to maintain stretch and pressure of the belt when AC is on or off. When tensioner doesnt work properly, it cant absorb and flutters. I'd been using a work around and recommended fellows to tighten belt as alternative; from 4PK-1540 to 4PK-1520. It worked but it's affect lasts only a few months, then problem appears again.

Now, I am planning to import that part, Serpentine Belt Tensioner form the Japan. Traced out the actual retail product from the OEM vendor, who has supplied this part to Mitsubishi. Also, found out that this same part is used in following vehicles.

Mitsubishi EK Wagon (Turbo/Sports)
Mitsubishi Minica
Mitsubishi Pajero Mini
Nissan Otti

Sajjad Nasir from Lahore. I have EK of 2006 model with the same problem and wish to replace this auto adjustor. As you have mentioned above that you are going to import this particular part from the OEM company dated more than a year back in 2015. My inquiry is, did you able to import this particular item and still have it? Or an place from where I could get it in Lahore. Will be obliged for your guidance and support.
