I am getting a new sound in my ek wagon. When I apply breaks, a screeching sound comes, until break is released. What does that mean?

you need to replace front brake disks brother. Also in cold conditions when brakes are cold there is always a screeching sound but it gets vanished once brakes is used couple of times...

Disks!!?? Or break shoes/pads.
And I am in Karachi, so there isnt much cold here

bro in Mitsubishi EK, there are front brake disks and rear brake shoe. In Lahore I bought brake disks @ 2500 and rear brake shoe @ 1200 and yes these were genuine Mitsubishi parts...

In Japan, FM is upto 90 only... So don't expect to hear FM 99,100,101 on it...

Dr. Usman sb, is there any solution to enhance the FM capability also? some years ago, the market tape-walas used to put a dabbi in multimedia system which increased the FM channels. ... i seen this case with a saada jp multimedia, like cassette player only, do you know that this can be done with NSCP-w62 series also ?

can you suggest android app for the OBD2. which you are using right now cz one i downloaded (OBD car doctor, free version) can't hold the data after car is off and also showing wrong info.

Torquepro, scanXL are mainly useful. .... and if you are really a hunter, find X431-pro ....... pl do share it for me if you find it.

Try this
Buy a fm modulator and an aux cable
(one that fits in hands free port, and has same jack on both sides)
Now you can play your mobile media or radio player on your phone while your phone is connected to modulator through aux cable and then you can fully enjoy music on your useless JDM sterio

Have anyone replaced shock absorbers , any price idea kabli or new , my Ek has a very stiff ones may be they are busted ones or idk but the rear is damn stiff , rear passengers are literally bouncing at every bump and so , plus front ones feel fine except few times , suggestions ?
How much ATF is needed for 4a/t , i guess 2.2l and 75w 80, correct me if i am wrong , which ATF is best suited , Company?

I have been enjoying ek-wagon drive for last three years. I think that the rear shocks absorbers or whatever they might be called are too stiff. Has anyone else experienced the same? How to rectify it?

i had similar problem and rear suspension was quite stiff, went to a mechanic in gawalmandi, he took out spring coils had them checked and said they are totally genuine and don't need replacement so he advised to put one spacer with those coils. voila..... car is smooth and i am satisfied

i don't have his number, he is really nice guy and knows these japanese cars well, you have to go to gawalmandi rawalpindi and ask for haji auto workshop and his son named Shani. he is good. it cost me i think 300 or 350 each speacer i don't remember exactly.
