Spare parts scarcity is right at par with your accords/corona/allion/premio etc. The GDI engine is a POS for Pakistan as it requires decoking at regular intervals - its very fiddly business.
These cars are nice but only if you can find them in good condition with a regular engine, Dewan Motors sold a version that was a 2.0 litre carburettor engine (4G63 SOHC) but with electric shift gearbox - it was a really nice car.
The V6 sold by Dewan Motors was an ancient engine but very tested and durable - very thirsty too. I swapped a lot of the GDI Galants with regular EFI engines and they were fantastic afterwards as the VR-G models usually were very well equipped like touch screen HVAC etc.
But the problem of relying on junkyards for spare parts doomed this car - the Prius will also be the same situation in about 5 or 8 years , because everyone wants a very nice machine but balk at the repair costs.
