Even honda/toyo have solid discs at the rear...

Ventilated discs just cool faster...and they are generally better than Solid discs...but for this specific midsize sedan segment...I CANT recall Ventilated discs offered at the rear end in ANY car!!

So...The brakes ure getting are TOP CLASS...need not worry about it!

And yes...the sport model ure talking about comes with 16" lightweight alloy wheels!...ITs all written in the specification sheet bro!

You dont get rear vents for the AC....but even the Civic doesnt offer that!...

You get climate control...meaning Digitally controlled Airconditioning...and the Civic doesnt offer this either!...

You do get Power tilt and sliding sunroof!...

I forgot to mention earlier...both your front seats will be electronically powered also!!(y)

I'm unsure about the Cruise Control coz i cant find it in the Specs...But ive seen it in Galants a hundred times!...So it should be there too!!

@ateekt should be able to guide you very well...He has owned the VR sports model..exactly the same thing ure going for!....

And i've had the 2.0l version for 9 years now(1998)!...It has 360000kms on the clock without overhaul and still no probs whatsoever!...This is just to give u an idea that these cars are DURABLE!!

Ok, so the car does have ABS and all, so thats cleared.

I like the digital climate control.. the sunroof is same as in Vti Oriel but this one has some safety jam protection or something like that. Id didnt know about the power seats..like that a lot.

But Honda has better resale and a 5 speed auto trans..Im surprised why Galant Sport is only 4?? The Lexus LS460 has 8 speed auto trans,, Merc S550 and 600 gots 7 speed auto trans and the BMW 750&760 got 6 speed... still BMW is the best !!

I am pretty sure cruise control will be there cuz the caar costs 2.5 M originally, but the price dropping doesnt mean feature dropping right??

update me on more info and do i get leather steering wheel..is it wise to get a steering wheel cover of leatherette (do they make of this size in ISB ?)

Yes the steering wheel is leather strapped!..and so is the gearknob and handbrake lever!...and a wheel cover is unnecessary

I dont think they can drop features with price!...
The JDM galants had 5 speed Steptronic, i dunno why these Galants have only 4!...
Whats more updates do u want dude?...I'm not sitting at the dealership..

When do u plan to buy the car? Pay a visit to the dealership to understand the proper deal..
And go for a thorough test drive!

Sorry if Ive been botherin u lately, Im actually gonna replace my 2003 Vti Oriel with a new car. I already have a Toyo Auto Altis... so no more Toyos in my garage!

The Honda is mine..2003 Pros. Vti Oriel w/ Leather & 61k kms on it. Great car by the way !

So, the cars on my list were Mitubishi GLX 1.6 Lancer Auto with sunroof..but no ABS and airbags.. So then I thought about a new Civic, but I have heard bad about the delivery time , the tires, and undervalued price.

I checked the Mitsubishi and I was highly impressed @ the impressive rates..1.5 M for imported automatic Japanese GALANT 2.0L..wow! But I reconsidered this when I looked at the higher end model the VR sport @ only 200k more but much much more features...thanx a lot man I really do appreciate it.

I will definately update u on my purchase...any email u got? 1 thing more- do u know the company of tires on this car..?And which color do u suggest..

VR trim is powered with a
"2.5 liter, 24 valves V6"
powerplant & is a great fuel efficient engine, being a V6 (y) ...!

I had a lot of mods on my car & I was used to roll 25+ km/gal in city, with A/C & pushing all the time :d ...!

If I get a
"good deal"
again on a VR, I'll go for it, without any wait...!

I am unsure about the tyre brand..but they're offering 205/55 R16s!!...Thats a really nice combination of tread and profile!...The tyre should be good enough!...definitely cant be General!

I'd say Go for the black!...If i repaint my Galant, it would be black for sure!....But ateek's Mica Blue is also nice!...
Its all upto your likeness!
