Hey, the Mits. Galant @ 1.7 M rs brand new ..how is it? Its a V6 with ABS and 4 wheel discs with leather and sunroof and all the stuff like that. HOw is it though?Any reviews or I mean should I get this or go for a Pak Civic @ 1.5M rs which is a 4 cylinder and 1.8 L engine without leather & cruise.

Choose what you like better but the shape that Mitsubishi Pakistan is offering has changed years ago so thats why I am not in the favour of Galant. Otherwise its by far better than a Civic.

By quality the Galant is better, but as @Whisky said the shape has change, engine is too slow, the interior is too dull etc.

Although don't like the new Civic too much because mainly due to its price but I think its a better buy compared to the Galant.

Have a look at Hyundai Sonata aswell.

Galant no doubt is my fav car shape wise. But the engine lacks alot of power. i mean the 2 ltr produces 125 hp which is less than the civic and altis them being 1800 cc, and the 2.5 produces 163 hp ! besides that the car's a bomb

How much hp does the 1.8 civic and altis produce?

No, Im considering the top of the line in either warm silver metallic or black. Its only 200k more expensive than base, but the engine is 25% larger and the car gives u leather, wooden trims, sunroof, any cruise control?

How r the tires as well, is it logical to change them..?

Only 163hp from a 2.5L..?Thats kind of sad ..it should be more like 183!

Hows the delivery time and range of colours on this in ISB , will probably look @ blue area.

Yea, the quality on this machine too...Honda will definately be great..but is this made in Japan, Thai or otherwise?

How is the quality of driving and does the car perform like a V6 or no?

it's japanese and from all i can see the only shortcoming is it's power output. Warna it's THE car ! EVERYTHING about it is grand !. i love this shape even more than the new camry !

2007 Camry exterior was disappointing,, this car is kool and sleek, really sporty from the looks, I liked the blue color..

I thing this is the best money can buy for you!!...(if you can afford the fuel for a V6)

Hey...You pay 2 lacks more than a civic...
You get a larger, more powerful engine...
You get more luxury...
You get good looks (shani248 thinks its the BOMB;))
You get more feautures...Climate control(y)
You get better tires...(205/55 R16)(y)...civic has 15 inchers!
You get better quality...(JAPAN)
You get a larger car...(this car is a class above civic, This is a mid-size sedan while Civic is compact)
You get STEPTRONIC transmission!!

And you get quicker delivery (I think you just drive out with the car) without paying OWN!...And in Civic's case, we are all well aware of the pains Honda has been giving Prosmatec customers!

You lack High Resale...
You lack cheaper third party spare parts and cheaper maintenance
You lack a 5th gear in the Automatic transmission
And you lack i-VTEC...

Choice is yours...bvut i'd definitely go for the VR sports automatic without any second thoughts!!

U said climate control--dat means dual or single..any rear vents? The Sports model I m talkin bout..and are there any alloys?

Cruise control..? Sunroof .. ? And the specs tell me the car has front ventilated discs, rear gots solid discs. Are they better than the 4 wheel discs of Honda/Toyo and what does solid mean..?I dun get it.

i also like galant. beacuse we have this car 1978 model my father bought it new from Kuwait. in Gulf war 1990 he took this car to Pakistan. in Pakistan we keep it 10years. its very good car.

I dont know why the automatic & manual charged @1.5M whereas there must be 1 lac difference between them.
One thing more, why 2.5L charged @ 1.7m whereas it was charged @2.5m. What a shame, why they reduce prices so drastically.
Don't know what Dewan motors want to do.
I personally think, 2.5L @ 1.7million is very good deal & this version also includes sports tuned suspension.

No need to worry about the power, it rocks on roads.
It looks so cool, and me sure its more luxury then new civic...
i'm lovin it!
