U can improve lancer 1.6 automatic (Engine 4G18) pickup problam with cleaning Chamber of Automatic gear only .

Based on anyone experience, what might is causing the issue. Still missing when gas is pumped,
Make sure your plugs are NGK BKR5E11.
Also, get your coils checked. They usually go out after 100,000km.
Additionally, you may need catalytic cleaning + new map sensor + new o2 sensor.
Hello everyone. My lancer was having a jerk issue while driving. Mostly on low rpms and high gears. It is a 1.3glx 2006 m/t deewan import. The car is with from the day it was on road. I got it checked on a scanner and there was a problem with tp sensor. Got one from bilal ganj and everything Was fine with the jerk issue.nowthere is another problem which i previously thought was linked to tps sensor. The cars rpm does not remain stable. In morning its around 1600 and drops to 1200 in 10 15 seconds and then becomes normal in a mins time and comes to 900. Now the problem is whenever i turn on the ac the rpm sometimes jumps up and sometimes down but becomes normal in a sec or so. And when ac trips rpm is jumps up to around 1600 and then slowly comes down to normal. At night when lights are on the rpm jumps up and comes down after a while when i switch on high beam and on steering movement the rpm jumps up and on full cut it goes to 1400 something and then comes back to normal after a while. And if i unplug iacv the rpm sometimes comes to normal ans sometimes stick where it was. If i unplug iacv and start in morning the rpm is at 400 and engine stalls(this is exactly what it should be in cold start with iacv unplugged). So im assuming its iacv. Now there is no engine chk light and i assume this model does not trigger engine chk light if iacvmalfunctions. Tps used to give a engine chk light. Further i have changed 3 iacv bilal gunj but every piece has some issues. The first one had surging issue. Basically every piece is doing almost same. What should i do now. I have also tried chinese iacv but when i installed it and started a prewarmed up car rpm was at 2k and was notcomingdown even after driving a while. What should be done
Car also jerks when i put my foot off theaccelerator which is a symptom of bad iacv. Also if i drive it warmed up with iacv Unplugged the car is smooth like a new car. It idles almost silent. Pick is also better with and without ac. Also with iacv plugged engine feels too loaded with ac on with iacv unplugged it feels a bit better. Carâs pick and power is perfext after it crosses 2k rpm but that i think is due to low torque before 2k rpm as i have heard these mitsus have low torque from factory
Seems like a bad iacv. Did you match the part number of the chinese iacv with the part number of your previous iacv? If not then first enter your vin on partsouq. Read through the diagrams until you find the iacv. Note down its oem part number. Then go to ssg asia and enter it there. It will give you a list of other compatible mitsu iacvs as well. Then search those part numbers on ali express. Hopefully that should work out.
Download all parts of the FSM and read through the throttle body and iacv related sections. Go through the index carefully. There are 4 chapters on it. Read about the 2.0 lancer. The tests and rpm setting methods will be the same. There is also a resistance test given for the iacv which you can check with multimeter. It will give you a definitive yes or no.

get the chock sensor cleaned, hopefully the problem will resolved.
I spent around 30k to fix the issue, coils, plugs, throttle body cleansing, fuel pump changing, catalytic cleaning etc but non worked.
Test your iacv/choke sensor using a multimeter. It'll give you an exact answer:

IACV failure is a very common problem in lancer and occurs in almost every vehicle. If your test shows even one circuit resistance outside the mentioned range then your IACV needs replacement. But always start with simplest first.........maybe it just needs cleaning.
