Mitsubishi Lancer 2005 Water pump (Coolant Pump)

My car is overheating with AC. I have dought on performance of water pump. can somebody tell me how much should be water flow rate of Pump at rpm of 1000 for mitsubishi lancer 2005.

have you checked for other issues, before concluding that your water pump is bad.

Your cooling system might be choked!

Some Question to come to a diagnosis:

1. are you using plain water or a good quality coolant
2. does your car has a Thermostat Valve and is your Fan Auto
3. have you checked if your radiator has rust in it.
4. is your car reducing major amounts of coolant.
5. is the reservoir bottle properly connected and functional
6. when was the last time you had your radiator / cooling system serviced?

the following is the detail reply to your questions.
1-Using plain water mixed with coolant
2-My car thermostate valve has bee removed and fan are auto
3-Radiator is clean
4-it heatup very quickly with ac when car is running so there is no question of coolant leak
5-reservoir is properly connected
6-radiator was clean recently but till now i have not check water pump.
last time a mechanica checked water pump by removing pipe from radiator there was flow of water but I dont know wehter it was enough or not.

The waterpump is almost installed for the life of the car. I too have the same and on factory spec no issues at all.

Check for Fan Speed for both the AC fan and the radiator fan. And why is the thermostat not present?

There can be other reasons... Have you scanned the car are there any error codes. What temp does the needle shows you.

Go to a service station and ask the guys there to pressure wash the AC condenser and the radiator with the pressure washer. What coolant are you using? Check if there is any slight leak in the water body. Also change the coolant to Caltex and bleed the system. Use either distilled water or meetha pani. Never use khara Pani. Also check if you engine oil is milky and if the car has been giving any white smoke in the initial startup.
