My mitsubishi lancer GLX 1.6 SR Automatic blows black smoke is it enough to just change the rings?? And any good mechanic for mitsubishi lancer in lahore who know this car well??
Brother as far as I know; Black smoke means your car's engine is running rich in fuel, and air : fuel needs to be checked.
(Blue smoke means engine oil burning, and white smoke means head gasket leakage and coolant getting mixed)
Momentum motors on Queens Road are authorised dealers of mitsubishi. They can diagnose and fix your issue properly, as far as I know. And as @basitali87 mentioned above, black smoke means car is running rich. There might be an issue with your oxygen sensor etc. It has nothing to do with engine burning oil.
