91 is currently parked at the workplace we have.. so it is somewhat inaccessible. I will have to drive into a crowded area, sanitize it wash it and then drive it.

You could just where gloves and a mask, avoid touching your face till you get home and wash your hands, wouldn't be an issue. And if it's your workplace, maybe go at night when there is no traffic. Also the inside can't be dirty since it's probably locked, so once you get in the car, things can relax, but to be on the safe side, don't touch your face till you get home.

August 9th, 2020,

I have been very busy since February due to Home renovation issues. Which are still underway. Need your prayers for that. Lancer on the other hand has been very faithful and relaible, it has become my daily driver almost and Khyber is kept under covers.

In the past six month I have only done general maintenance apart from two instances one is when the Gear Cables Stretched out (although they were original Mitsubishi) had to buy new ones from Allies Autos and changes them myself no big issues cost was 5500 for the cable. Will share the damaged cable pics later..

Secondly I have changed the long dued Tyres. Found my self a nice set of Toyo 175/70R-13 from bahadurshah marker with a years warranty. The ride has become much smoother now cause the previous ones were flatspotted.

And, today during my general check up found gear oil to be slightly no. No leaks. Topped that up. And hopefully she will be running good.

Good to hear from you after all this time and good to know that Lancer has been reliable. In the current scenario it is even more imperative that our cars don't let us down because the 'support' wasn't readily available over the past few months in the form of mechanics and secondly it's not safe to be visiting mechanics every few days due to the outbreak.

This is because the coolant/water has expanded and the radiator cap is maintaining its rated pressure (printed on cap)

Yes that is why you should invest in good quality OEM parts not cheap Chinese stuff... Cause in the end you will have a reliable car. Hopefully the pandemic will die down soon... Inshallah

I have been very busy as I have earlier mentioned with the home renovation issues... In the mean while my Lancer 88 has proven to be a very reliable work horse Allahumdullilah. Where many new cars failed to run during the rains (Karachi rains) she never let me stranded on the side of the road. I just drove a bit sensibly. Inshallah she will be running more good... Will soon be having it detailed inshallah.

On the other hand Khyber has been parked since I think it is too low to be driven in the rivers of Karachi. Thinking of selling it and buying a Potohar or something similar. An SUV will soon be necessary in the coming years in Karachi.

I have been driving the almost daily now... Khyber has been parked like for a month now. Allah ka shukar absolutely no issues.. was stuck in traffic for 3 hours today but she reached home with out breaking a sweat... Oil and fluid changes coming up soon... Will be sharing...

Got off from office at 5:30, FTC Fly over was closed for cricket teams to move had to take Korangi Expressway which was also blocked.... Landed on Shahrahe Faisal Also Blocked Till COD, and then the stupid Millinium Traffic...

Hmm I left DHA for Gulshan around 9:45pm yesterday and also noticed unusual traffic at that time, that's why I asked.
